Information about the singer

For the 9th time the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) is going to be on Eurovision stage. As the name of the country already shows, Macedonia is a part of the former Yugoslavia. There was one victory in 1989 “Rock me” by Riva, which was a big surprise winner nobody would have expected this to win. Since then all ex-Yugoslav countries have made a kind of Eurovision career already and share a similar taste of music. 2007 Maria Serfivovic has brought back the Eurovision crown to the Balkan with her ballad “Molitba”, that Balkan sound has spoken deep out of the Balkan soul and heart.
Macedonia has almost qualified every year to the final, beside of last year in Belgrade.
This year there will be the group called “Next Time” to hold the flag for their country in Moscow. The song “Neskto shto ke ostane” is a typical Balkan rock song, which probably will receive many votes from the neighbour countries. But as it is the style like we have heard it e.g. from Montenegro last year, this won’t appeal the majority Eurovision spectators. It’s a bit too rocky and hard. The guy has a huge similarity with the singer from Serbia this year, watch out for this!
